Stay cool this summer with Heatcool
When the Taranaki summer heats up, there's nothing better than walking into a comfortably cool home or workplace.

At Heatcool, we supply and install air conditioning systems throughout New Plymouth and Taranaki, helping homeowners and businesses stay comfortable all year round.

Whether you're looking to cool a bedroom, living area, office or commercial space, we can help you find the right system for your needs.

And here's something worth knowing: your heat pump is also an air conditioner.

The reverse-cycle heat pumps we install provide both heating and cooling, so one system can keep you warm in winter and cool in summer.
Air Conditioning or Heat Pump…What's the Difference?
It's a question we hear quite often.

In New Zealand, we tend to call these systems heat pumps because they're commonly used for heating during winter.
But modern reverse-cycle heat pumps also provide air conditioning, allowing you to cool your home or workplace when temperatures rise.

So when you're looking for air conditioning in New Plymouth or Taranaki, you don't necessarily need a separate cooling system. A suitable heat pump can do both jobs.
Air Conditioning for Homes and Businesses
Every property is different, and choosing the right air conditioning system depends on the space you need to cool.

Heatcool can help with:

We'll work with you to find a practical solution that suits your property and how you use it.

Keep Your Air Conditioning Running Efficiently
Already have a heat pump? Don't forget it needs looking after in summer too.

When your heat pump is cooling, it produces condensation that needs to drain away properly. Over time, blocked drains can cause water to leak from the indoor unit.

Dust and dirt can also build up inside the system, affecting airflow and performance.

A professional heat pump service helps keep your unit clean, checks the drainage system and can identify potential issues before they become bigger problems.

Getting your system serviced before summer is a good way to prepare for the warmer months.
